Firstly, I received my kit this morning safe & sound from the UAE...big a$$ shoutout X0AYHAM0X!

From communications to fast ship, top notch service getting my stuff to me safe & sound. No doubt support is gonna be top-notch as well.

Secondly, I seemed to be missing the 9 button rubber pad. Box appears to not have been opened by NY USCBP (no green tape) and never been opened since sealed from the factory. So my question to you guys who have installed this system and have / can compare the 2 rubber pads, can the one in the stock radio be butchered/modified to work in its place?

I'd also like to give props to X0AYHAM0X for being very supportive to us that didn't even buy a unit from him. His support has been incredible and he's constantly working on improving the unit.

That being said, the stock 9 button pad can be cut and separated to fit this unit.

Yes, you need to cut the pad to fit; try not to butcher the other part, in case you want to put back to stock when selling/trading later.

Also, I HIGHLY recommend watching OEMRADIO's install video on youtube; VERY helpful.

Lastly, those directions appear to be the same as those that came with the Moddiction unit; if so, at the end, it's not very specific about the USB dongle, be sure you attach to the unit and lead to glove box.

Lastly, I'm sure you will get superior support from X0AYHAM0X, he's been a tremendous help to everyone here with similar units, even though they weren't purchased from him. Wish I had known before purchasing from Moddiction.

∆ Yes, was his video. I watched the Rosen install video and it was also useful. Run the GPS antenna under the center plastic peice on the dash, its much easier than running it elsewhere and works great.

Thanks! Will give it a try tonight. Great work on everything. The USB solution is awesome!

Once your in the app you should be able to put the app in the sd card and just launch it from the navigation screen by selecting its location instead of the nave app

but that means you need to take your dash apart at least once HAHA on the other hand my way requires zero times of taking the dash apart lol (just kidding) great job too!
