Don't have this information where we should connect the cables, but I have this information from a past discussion with Nick from Diode Dynamics :

Sorry, right- I meant that we would provide a short harness to get the power from the tail light if there is no wiring there already. That's what we'll need to test, especially running wire from trunk out to sidemarker, but it would be totally plug and play.

Eu doesn't have OEM wire harness because in EU models that side marker is just a reflective stuff like our tri bar led in headlights. so if you guys sell the harness with this product would be a lot easier.

Is anyone selling their standard sidemarkers? I have a UK model and am after the left & right standard (red) rear sidemarkers. PM me if you have removed them (to swap out with LED ones, for example), and want to sell!

Australia has the same amber lenses as UK. Just order new parts from the US, they are cheap as.

Thanks for the tip- I'd looked at buying them new but seems bonkers to support the production of new parts when lots of people will be taking the stock ones off to fit LED boards. Not sure if it's the same in Aus, but in the UK we don't have the harness to run the light in the side marker, so I was just going to use the lens to get the right colour. Other option would be vinyl, but prefer just have the US OEM red parts.

Luckily now have found someone wanting to sell - love this forum for the fact that within 24hours two helpful answers have come from 2 different continents, thanks guys

As far as ADR's are concerned, I had a good look at several vehicles on the way to work this morning. None of them had any sort of side marker - reflector or otherwise. Reckon they simply needed something to fill the hole and opted to tie it into the orange headlight reflector. Reflectors are cheaper than lights. Thanks Ford.
The US may have a specific requirement for side markers. Dunno

We have a blackout kit on our 05 Mustang GT. It was already like that when we bought it and I wondered why.

I have bought the blackout kit from Anchor room the guy doing my tinting and vinyl roof wrap going to install the kit as well ($100 for all pieces!).
I am going to tint all the lenses apart from the headlights, i may cut that piece and just do the indicators keep the leftovers as spare tint.
Anyone here done this?
