Show me your stripes!

So I'm shopping around for some stripes but I can't really find what I'm looking for... When the order bank opens I'm ordering a 2017 Race Red GT PP and I want the narrow white stripes, but the catch is I want a bright pearl white or something like the white platinum metallic. Does anyone know where I might be able to find them?

I'm sure if you find a shop that does body wraps and custom work you will be able to order any color you want from 3m. I'm taking my car in this week for stripes, tint, and CQuartz. They must have had 60 different types of color samples to choose from. They ranged from chrome colored vinyl to glossy, semi gloss, and matte. In fact, they were wrapping an Audi R8 convertible in a chrome red when I stopped in last week.

I want the same narrow width as the GT350. Fortunately they have a Race Red GT350 there now with the white stripes to do a template. That Race Red with the white stripes and black pinstripe looked mean!

My job this weekend is to figure out what color stripes I want on my DIB GTPP. I've narrowed it down to gloss black or gloss white with a red pinstripe or white with a black pinstripe or black with a white pinstripe. I go in Monday for them to mock up a couple sample on the hood to decide.

So far between $125 and $200 in the USA...anybody out of those bounds?

That's not for the same stripes. My initial estimate was $150, but when he realized the pinstripe was separate he needed to increase his price to account for the extra time to run the pin stripe.

I have to give my guy credit. I ordered the stripes from Bigworms, and he quoted me $125 for install since they all come pre cut. What he didn't know was what a PITA it would be to install that stripe over my hood scoop. An hour and a half job became a three hour job, but he stuck to his original quote.

If you live in the San Fran, North Bay area I highly recommend him. Northbay Auto wraps. He does really good work.

Yeah, I wanted white, but my wife being an Auburn grad said no way she was letting me drive around in a Crimson Tide colored car. She said matte black, gloss black or nothing.

I wasn't sold until I saw it on there.

I have added my hood spears a couple of weeks ago. The first pictures are with the car dirty sadly and the last ones cleaned . The stripes are from 3M - Light charcoal metallic, I ordered those on stripeman.com. I find them to be a good compromise in not being too flashy and at the same time pronouncing the hood forms. The colour does look different depending on the light, which is not bad at all.

Last time we tried a metallic/pearl white it only lasted about 9 months, manufacturer said that's normal with a pearl white so we are not going to do anything to help you. So until that changes we do not plan to carry it. We expand our color options on a regular basis, but do not want to sell a product that won't last.
