If the edges are lifting try using some adhesion promoter to help stick. You can usually pick up individual packets of adhesion promoter at collision repair shops or auto body supply shops

Took a while to make a decision, but I finally went with Big Worm's Super Snake stripe kit in matte black. I gotta say I'm thrilled with the results.
As if ruby wasn't gorgeous enough on its own, those stripes make for one stunning color scheme.

Looks great...and they even match your license plates (as we here refer to them).

So people are having lifting problems with the stripes? My dads 85 GT had a decal on the hood that stayed on forever. Are there stripe kits that will do the same? I don't want to worry when I take my car through a car wash or if I have some pressure on the hose if I'm doing it by hand eventually. That's the one thing that's keeping me from pulling the trigger because it's not cheap to put them on and I don't want the stripes lifting or ripping off and stuff.

We are only having slight lifting at the top front of the bumper, where the stripe has two closely spaced bends. Stripes are sticking fine everywhere else.

I put some household double-stick tape under mine. Temporary band-aid for now.

This totally depends on the brand on vinyl used, the condition of the paint underneath the stripes and the quality of installation.

But when everything is ok. The vinyl should not lift.
Remember.... when cleaning with a pressure hose keep a distance of minimal 1.5 foot (ca. 45cm) and try to hose in a angle of 90 degrees or close to it.

I think those that are having lift issues are having them on the bends. Like right above the license plate or between the grills. All you need to do is use some heat and form the vinyl to those bends.

As for washing with pressure, the kit I have from big worm has the stripes extend past the edges where you can't see them End. So getting an edge to lift up with just water would actually be kind of difficult. I take mine through a couple different touchless washes here in the winter and haven't had any problems. I'm sure there is a pressure level that is too high but the big worm kits appear to hold up well.
