Yes go with the e65 honestly won't be much of a loss in power from e85 just the e85 has more knock protection. Now e85 sitting isn't the best but I feel like only 5-7 days should be fine. You just wouldn't want sitting for almost a month or longer. Now I cannot speak for PBD but we offer a flex fuel tune so you can run 91 or e85 or any mix of the 2 and the computer may adjust to the correct ethanol level. This is what a lot of people like in a climate of odd weather like us in Michigan. I love my flex and it switches back to 93 every fall and e85 back in spring. That would be my suggestion.
Thanks everyone and enjoy

You will DEFINITELY see a benefit with E65. Not much or any gains between E50 and E85 on the flex tune. E85 dedicated race tune would be another story, but point is E65 should be plenty.
Awesome great to hear, thanks!

Some people actually like the driving characteristics of E30-E50.
@BmacIL says he preferred about E50.

I do the same thing here in Maryland. E85 in spring, switch back to 93 in winter.

Awesome thanks for that, really good to know. I'll try the E-65 tune and go from there, at least the gas station with this fuel is only a few miles from my house so very convenient!

I've been running e85 for a few months now (which is amazing) but my car is just a weekend warrior/track toy. Because of this I was informed to use an ethanol stabilizer with each fill up.

After this tank I'll probably go through a couple tanks of 91. I haven't wanted to after going corn juice but I'm sure it'll be good to see what the 91 tune feels like.

If I run the E85 (E65) and make sure to run the car every few days - do you think I can run it all year long without any issues?
Or do you still recommend running 91 to clean it out?
Or perhaps what Ethanol Stabilizer is the best one to use?

Thanks guys! Love my 2019 GT...amazing vehicle!

I recommend running 91 or 93 every third-fourth tank or so.

@Bluemustang : Appreciate the input man! I've got a side question for you after seeing your suspension set up for your Stang...

Would you recommend the BMR 005 Cradle lockout kit over the Steeda IRS braces? I have the Cradle Lockout kit, but currently have it listed for sale because it doesn't fit with the IRS braces.

I have the Ultimate Stop the Hop Kit and also have the Steeda RLCA bearings I need to install...
Looking to keep NVH to a minimum so not going with the Diff Bushing Inserts.

Thanks!

OP, Do you find it hard to start on e85 in your colder climate? Have you done any datalogging? Heavier fuel cycle on startup?

As far as ethanol stabilizers goes, I use Lucas Oil brand only because it's the only stuff I have easy access to.

Here's a coupe things I learned since the switch.

@2morrow

Thanks for the video, about 4 min into it! I actually have not yet run the E65 yet! So will data log after driving around for a bit...waiting for snow to melt here we got a bit the other day.
Glad to hear the drive-ability is good for you though. In regards to colder climate I'm interested to see how it does here in the cold of Colorado. Maybe that's why they run the winter blend because the true E85 acts up a bit on start up.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, definitely avoid the diff bushing inserts IMO. As to the BMR CB005 vs Steedas kit, take your pick. Someone more technical could explain it better than I could. But, since you already have the CB005, keep that and get the CB762 instead. There is no better combination to solving the IRS movement from what I can tell, other than going to solid subframe bushings and CB762. The design of the CB762 in terms of reinforcing the subframe and the chassis itself - its impressive. I plan on adding this myself.

The CB005 removes 80-95% of the subframe movement per BMR. Add the CB762 and you are as close to 100% as possible without the NVH of solid subframe bushings.

Edit: the Steeda RLCA bearing you will LOVE. I also recommend their front control arms and bearings. Adding bearings to the main pickup points is the #2 or #3 best thing you can do IMO to the suspension, next to CB005/or other subframe bushing/braces.
