Update. Official from Ford the car shipped Wed. last week with an ETA of 12-31-15 so may see it after all this year. Sales guy emailed and said it was in Arkansas as of this afternoon

1LEThumper, is it headed to the Mesquite railyard? That's where most of the North Texas cars are shipped. If it's on UP then call 1-800-272-8777 if you have the rail car number and you can track it. It's an automated system. If you can't get through the prompts and get to a human they will not help you as you are not the customer. Mine is still in Mesquite and status is "Held to Unload". When the prompt asks you for the equipment number just enter the 6 digits (if like mine) and not the ETTX. Worked for me and I was able to track through Arkansas and Texas.

You can go a step further and call the trucking company hauling from the railyard to the dealer using the vin.

I haven't heard of the rail car number yet....at this point I guess I'm trying not to get to excited just in case it ends up being held there for what ever reason.

I just hope it is this week because it is the holidays still so less traffic and its suppose to be sunny.....and Cars and Coffee this weekend too!

Car arrived at the rail yard sometime today. Sales guy is trying to get a truck there ASAP to pick it up, prep it, and with any luck I'll be taking it home tomorrow or Friday morning!

Weather looks to be nice so try to take it to Cars and Coffee Saturday here in DFW before I have to go to work.

What color is yours as I have a guy that lives close to the Railyard in Mesquite and is checking the lot for me 2 or 3 times a day. No signs of it since the railcar hit the yard Saturday. My dealer did not get back to me today after I asked this morning if it was going to make it today.

Here locally we have an auto port, they have 1000's of cars here.
this some may not want to read.
The amount of salt used in these places is obscene.
I was talking to a guy that works their part time and he was saying how some cars
are abused. He wasn't sure which model AMG, but will leave a 60ft strip just for fun.
He did say cars that have transport mode get less abuse because they won't rev.
things I now wish I didn't know.

I did drive down ( about 10 minutes from me) not fun to watch some things.

Hope people at the Flat Rock pound don't do the same thing. My car was shipped directly from Ramp 51 there to my dealership by Cassens Transport on the same truck. Not sure how much salt they spread there.

Mine went from plant to train shipping area, back to plant.
