I haven't heard of the rail car number yet....at this point I guess I'm trying not to get to excited just in case it ends up being held there for what ever reason.1LEThumper, is it headed to the Mesquite railyard? That's where most of the North Texas cars are shipped. If it's on UP then call 1-800-272-8777 if you have the rail car number and you can track it. It's an automated system. If you can't get through the prompts and get to a human they will not help you as you are not the customer. Mine is still in Mesquite and status is "Held to Unload". When the prompt asks you for the equipment number just enter the 6 digits (if like mine) and not the ETTX. Worked for me and I was able to track through Arkansas and Texas.
DittoLet me know when it comes in, I would love to see it !! Im in North Dallas as well...My R is from Bob Tome Ford in McKinney
cars and coffee not happening this month due to no room at the BMW dealerCar arrived at the rail yard sometime today. Sales guy is trying to get a truck there ASAP to pick it up, prep it, and with any luck I'll be taking it home tomorrow or Friday morning!
Weather looks to be nice so try to take it to Cars and Coffee Saturday here in DFW before I have to go to work.
Blue with white stripes. Track pack car1LEThumper, Mine has not yet been unloaded from the rail car and it arrived Saturday at Mesquite. What color is yours as I have a guy that lives close to the Railyard in Mesquite and is checking the lot for me 2 or 3 times a day. No signs of it since the railcar hit the yard Saturday. My dealer did not get back to me today after I asked this morning if it was going to make it today.
Was none when yours shipped, really midl fall.Hope people at the Flat Rock pound don't do the same thing. My car was shipped directly from Ramp 51 there to my dealership by Cassens Transport on the same truck. Not sure how much salt they spread there.
