After two drives that were very stiff but again I’ve never driven a car before but now so how would I know what it supposed to feel....
and now several hours of staring at the car in the garage I’m thinking maybe it’s sitting a little too high and I took a peek inside the rear and front wheel wells. Can’t see much in the front but in the rears I can see these yellow blocks. I’m assuming these are the famed shipping blocks? Someone like to confirm?

Chris, all of my front shipping blocks were White in color and the rears were Yellow but in any event your dealership has not done their PDI procedure properly as you obviously have the rears still intact and if that is the case I suggest that the front shipping blocks are also still in place.

Suggest that you send pictures to your selling dealership and ask them to advise how they want to proceed as this is an obvious error on their part.

On a more positive note this has happened many times before with the ~3,600 R models produced over the last 6 MY's and just happy that you were able to determine this issue early on!!

Shame on the selling dealership and just happy that you were not in a position whereby you decided to track your car in this configuration!

Obviously you will notice a much improved/proper ride going forward and can tell you that I also had this happen to me with my first R model namely GR107 after which time I had to get the get the PCM reconfigured based on an idiot light that just would not go out.

Good luck and know that this will all work out in the end!
