I’d go the 427 or Godzilla route if I bought one. That thing would be wild. I would imagine those that buy them are mothballing them though.I love these cars. Would really like to drive one some day. What a great vehicle.
The side profile reminds me of my viper. Part availability must be a pain for these though.
Am I missing something in the Godzilla? Article said the specs aren’t that impressive, I’d think it weighs nearly twice what a coyote does…?I’d go the 427 or Godzilla route if I bought one. That thing would be wild. I would imagine those that buy them are mothballing them though.
It’s a lot easier to package being a pushrod engine and not DOHC.Am I missing something in the Godzilla? Article said the specs aren’t that impressive, I’d think it weighs nearly twice what a coyote does…?
That’s the standard crate specs. I wonder if SA would juice it at all. Also if you pick the CF body option that car will be super light so 430hp and 470 ft/lb of torque would be pretty wild.Am I missing something in the Godzilla? Yeah but you could do all that with say, a coyote that weighs even less with better hp and nearly as good torque… then put a blower on it and the car would be insane. All for the low low price of nearly have a million. That’s the standard crate specs. I wonder if SA would juice it at all. I also wonder if fitment is an issue. The coyote is a big motor, the Godzilla doesn’t take up as much space. Good comparison of specs here. The weight difference isn’t as much as you would thinkYeah but you could do all that with say, a coyote that weighs even less with better hp and nearly as good torque… then put a blower on it and the car would be insane. Yeah, you’re prolly right, the spec 2 looks (relatively) small so the coyote might not fit width-wise…I also wonder if fitment is an issue. The coyote is a big motor, the Godzilla doesn’t take up as much space. Good comparison of specs here. The weight difference isn’t as much as you would think
