@Cobra Jet Jet - I'll checkout garagejournal

The black ceiling was a point of contention for most I told. When it was all done, everyone loved it. The look of the garage was exactly what I wanted, but I was surprised how much better it made the cars look @stanglife it did make the ceiling seem lower, its 10ft at the wall and a little over 12 at the peak. We will see how the dust plays out. I have polished, stained and sealed floors - and I just spray and squeegee. Anything more than that I will just blow off with an air hose.

I need to hang this piece soon. This is #3 engine cowling from a 1969 727. It's a hilarious conversation piece

Where’d you snag the cowling from? Very cool piece! I’ve seen people put a piece of glass on top and turn it into a table, but I’m thinking you need to mount a subwoofer inside if you’re planning to wall mount it!

Oh man, make a fan inside there as the turbine and put a filter behind it. Functional hepa filter! :)

I'll probably throw a short run of leds in it and hang it from the peak. We had this cowling stuffed in the corner of the hangar for years and years. We would throw mops and brooms in it - it was just a big catch all for the shop. My dad fully restored it as a garage warming gift and it came out awesome.

The low end is taken care of, I don't need anymore bass lol. I'm currently running a pro level twin 18" JBL sub enclosure. You can stand anywhere near the garage and it will tickle your nose. Close the doors and it sounds like a Honda Civic trunk from the outside - the siding rattles and the light fixtures dance. The sound is pretty wild and the neighbors are cool with it, we can have a concert anytime we want.

I signed with a contractor last March before lumber skyrocketed so I got lucky. The garage was a new build on the back of my property, 40x30. Ive been building out the interior since Jan. God I'm glad to be done painting. Now it's all details - trim, some more lighting and a lift.

I haven’t been able to use it enough to get it dirty yet. Hopefully my kids help with keep it clean.

I’m not a member over there, should I check it out?

I just got the A/V wrapped up. Clearly more A than V. Zoom in, if you know, you know

I dig the black ceilings - but my ceilings are pretty low at 9'..and I think it would feel smaller. Also, going to do some sanding on a project car early (garage is under construction) and that dust would be all over the black. Speaking of that - what are you guys doing for dust reduction? I hjave sealing my concrete on the list - and am looking into building a couple filters out of box fans.
Black ceilings is where light reflections go to die. Then again, i doubt too much work is going to be going on in there. That's a "sit on the couch, watch tv, and talk about what a cool garage i have", garage.

this photo is a couple years old but i have traded the 2010 escape in for a 2019 Edge ST (rapid red) and we have added another mustang (66, springtime yellow, not my choice but was inherited from my Uncle)

You'd be surprised how bright it is. Work wise - everything but paint will go down in here. The fox will be getting a coyote swap early next year and the C5 gets a clutch when the lift goes in. However, the couch idea sounds pretty good too!

Also, here are 6 of the 15 hex led's that are going up for additional lighting. These are awesome, I highly recommend to anyone thinking about going with these.

We need to see more garages :crackup:

Just moved into a new build with a detached garage so will be posting updates once all the boxes are out of my parking space.

Sneak peek (she's dirty...been living that apartment life the last 7 months)

How do you like the B302 compared to the S550? How long have you owned it?
