More importantly, if they melt or are heat damaged, will they be replaced under warranty?How much faster will my track time be if I add them...
These are beautiful covers, but are they track ready? I know a sandbag driver who would be a good all around test driver. Maybe a set could be donated for testing and evaluation under sub-par conditions for evaluation?

This seems like something that just begs for issues. Carbon breaking down from heat in a critical area just seems like a chance I am not willing to take. And for what? to look cool? Could you imagine trying to explain to your insurance that you put a fiberglass spacer between your brakes and wheel and can't understand why it failed?
The carbon fiber parts have just about gotten ridiculous at this point. I really wish vinyl and carbon were used less than they are but I guess that is where we are right now. I applaud the creativity but I can't get behind this. If it doesn't make you go fast or stop fast, what does it do for you?

Ya'll know that carbon is used in a lot of race car brake systems, right?
Not commenting on performance of these covers - but carbon fiber is plenty cable of handling the temps if the right resin is used.
