Unfortunately not on the car yet since I'm waiting for drilled/slotted rotors as well. Here's a pic of them off the car though. I went with some gloss clear coat after just to give them some more shine.
Looks real good. Went for the full removal I see. I would have liked to but it took 8 hours as it was to finish the job. Needed my car the next day!

Where did you get the curved stickers?

Sharp,

I actually got an extra set of brakes from shelby auctions on ebay to avoid not being able to use the car, it also made the process easier with less taping. I'll be selling the set that's currently on my mustang after these get put on, shouldn't lose too much money since I only have 1,000 miles on it so far.

I found the curved brembo stickers off of ebay: Here's the link for anyone who is interested:

That looks awesome! That was my suggestion to go with that/similar color in the DIB caliper color thread.

Also inb4 someone bitches that you don't have brembos....
Well they are a Brembo design made under licence by Ford, so technically they are more a Brembo than the GT350 is a Shelby.

Not doubting you, but where can we find this info as a hard fact? I've gotten in several "discussions" with others about this and they keep telling me I'm full of shit.

No website I can point you to but the design is clearly brembo's, The main giveaway is the front side bleed valve which is patented by Brembo, To use it you have to make a brembo design under licence (Ford, AP Racing) Have Brembo supply them without paying the royalty for the name (Audi, Lexus, and Stoptech I believe though they may manufacture under licence now) Or pay a royalty for using the front bleed valve (Willwood).

I haven't been involved in car parts for a long time and some of that may have changed.
Brembo makes sliding calipers for lots of OEM's too, but they definitely don't brand those.

Lots of companies do this. Those dollar store no name batteries could be Duracell or Enegizer rejects.

I just watched something on the news about how 1 company in Italy makes nearly all of the sunglasses in the world- even though they're branded by Gucci, Prada, Rayban, etc. Many many industries do this with branding; some dont even produce anything!

I guarantee a lot of the calipers out there are Brembo designs (or old designs) licensed by another manufacturer to build. The base GT calipers are definitely a Brembo design (they look identical to the prior years Brembo 4 piston); they are made by someone else. I can't remember the name but it was said before in the forums.

Got these installed a few weeks ago. Unfortunately rotor pros had supply issues and couldn't get me the drilled and slotted rotors. Overall I'm really happy with how these turned out, don't think I could have picked a better color.

I also have some calipers/rotors for sale if anyone is interested in painting these themselves while they are off the car and installing them. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55474

nice work man!! I went with the vht burnt copper as well, love this color with DIB, it lays on very well for sure! I also did Brembo decals, lol don't even care :shrugs: I did mine right after I installed my Konis and springs, here's a couple pics I snapped during and after. I also layed a few coats of gloss clear on as well.
