So I stretched the legs out on Inferno today and when I hit about 120mph the hood started shacking, is this normal due to the pressure under the hood and the hood vents? the car did not fee unstable at all and performed fantastically but the visual concerned me.

I doubt that's expected behavior. I haven't had my '15 up that high, but I had my '11 up to almost 160 and there was no shaking.

There have been several threads about minor issues with the hood alignment. In those cases the latch was too tight or the posts too long, pulling the hood down in the center. In your case maybe the latch is too high or the posts too short, allowing the hood to rattle. So, you might check the latch and posts. IMO it should not rattle.

That would make sense as the hood gap towards the fenders (both sides) is larger than in the center where the latch is. I'm going to the dealership today; I'll bring it up to them when I'm there.

This was a common occurrence with the early S197's, even after aligning the front bumper stops on the radiator cover. On my '07 GT, I simply shimmed the hinge bolts up with washers, thus raising the rear of the hood a bit to let air out over the cowl area. Cured the high speed shaking.

Same problem on my '05. Wish I would've known about that fix.

Yeah it was easy, they turned the rubber stoppers and couple of turns and said to try it out again. If it's not right I know how to adjust it now.

Can someone show me where these rubber stoppers are or where I can shim in some washers? It's very discerning when I see my hood bounce around like that. :(

Mine shakes a good bit above 80mph
I took my car north of 80 this morning and the hood came up quite a bit by the cowl on the drives side.

Any idea on what to adjust to fix this?

Hey GoBlues38,

Shoot me a PM. We'll get her to a dealer to have this checked out. It's best to be safe and make sure there's no major issues.
