Yeah I think so too, my 02 GT has an aftermarket sub & amp and has bass in every song I play no matter what genre. In my 16 GT it has bass when it is supposed to have bass and not in every song. Im no audiophile so im happy with what I got while others have said there is an improvement with speaker replacement.
If you are leaning to put new cones on your car then do it, it certainly cant hurt, except maybe your wallet
