I heard that the Helm version is not compatible with Windows 10. Someone on the forum posted this. Is it true?

Did you follow the link, thinking it will answer that ? I could say but what good its that?

The other website mentioned in the earlier response seems like the perfect source "easymanuals"

First off a link was provided to get an answer with regards to the OS.

2 If the "easymanuls" deal is the one you down load, for like 80 bucks.

Knock yourself out. They use your VIN to create the manual for the car.

You're allowed to download & grab a many copies , as you wish. I believe that option is open to the buyer for a month after purchase.

With only reference to such antiquated operating systems such as Windows 3.1 and NT4.0, It leaves doubts to it's Windows 10 compatibility.

That is telling you it is comparable from 3.1 to date. You must be told so yes 10 works. Screen shots form the CD using OS 10.

Yes, it was totally fine.

I know our local library, if you are member you get free access to Mitchell On Demand.

So you guys may check with your local library and take out a card if they provide access and then you don't have to worry about service manuals. Go to library when you need to look something up for free and print it out. What I do. Oftentimes I just save a PDF to a thumb drive but if I needed to print it it's like 10 cents.

I don't have any special knowledge about them, but I don't have any reason to think the manuals from easymanuals are not genuine. I'm not sure why they are so much cheaper than the alternative sources I've seen, but I also can't imagine Ford would not have had them closed down long ago if these manuals were some sort of illegal or unlicensed copy.

They're simply pirated copies. Helms and Motocraft Service are the genuine one.

You need to read the feed back. Looked at those, sent like 2 questions cause the hype was so vague.

Wanted a screen shot of a (one) page, to make sure this was not some reinvented Chilton's manual. Answer was we don't send sent shots.

You want cheap, you want to spend your time surfing hours for info? That's the the deal for you, time to get off the fence, several folks have tried to point this out.

When I asked for some sample pages before buying some months back, they sent me
a handful.

Maybe they did not understand what you were saying.

The only options I know of for the REAL Deal factory service manual is to buy the Helms CD (as listed above), buy a subscription to the Motorcraft service (linked above) and print to PDF all the pages in the manual. It's doable - but takes some times and to make it organized you need to rename each file as you print it and make folders to keep it organized etc. The final option is to go here:

You can get the full service manual and wiring manual for @ $130 for both.

You give them your VIN, they generate the manual, they send you a download link / password and you download the entire manual(s).

I did this for my '17 - all the hyperlinks work and it's complete and a copy of the factory manual.
