I use a Stoplock Professional on mine and it fits nicely either side of one of the steering wheel spokes.

So if some scrote is going to cut the steering wheel to remove this lock they will have to cut it in two places! Which will take twice as long, that coupled with. Faraday pouch and a security system at home that would rival most banks, I’m not sure what more I can do to protect mine short of hiring a bouncer to stand at the end of my drive !

Automatic Scrote detecting sentry turrets with heat seeking ammo?

I ‘ll definitely have Adam make a no throttle map for me. I keep the car in the garage at night, but it is also a daily so I take it to several places during the day and it stays outside for several hours.

Sadly not although on occasions I wish it would.

I caught this scrote trying to get into my car sometime ago now and as a result have ramped up security since. It helps having a close friend who owns his own security business too.

Shame we have to go to these lengths to protect ourselves from these morons.

Having a manual car is a good deterrent as most of these scroats can't cope with three pedals

Can anyone clarify what size Disklok is best for the stang? Normal steering wheel. Or better still, measure the wheel diameter for me? (I can't today).

I'm going to order one today, and need to choose between small/medium/large.

Cheers!

Try the Richbrook 'Dis-Car-Nect' Battery Cut Off switch with the fused 16 Amp bye-pass. Maintains current to most stand-bye circuits but not enough to start the car. Good for longer periods of storage.

Disclok size is small. Don’t close it as tight as it will go as it’ll grip the steering wheel and allow the thief to drive off; it’s designed to spin on attack. Also put it sideways on so the locking bar isn’t at the top of th steering wheel, stops the wheel marking then.

Thanks Manders. A really helpful posting. The ghost imobaliser looks like a very easy to live with solution.
