Second Thursday with no VIN

I placed my order 5/6, thought I should get a VIN the next Thursday or one week later. No dice. :shrug:

Anyone else place an order the first week of May? Any updates?

I placed my order on 2/27, showed in COTUS as ordered on 3/4, and i got my VIN on 4/16...almost 7 weeks after I ordered. It's a long painful wait...

I ordered mine on 4/23, still no vin or cotus.

all depends on your dealers allocation and when they have their next one inline for production. No allocation = no vin much less build.

Patience my friend. It took me 3 months for a VIN. I ordered on July 5th. My order went into processing on July 16th. I got my VIN on October 16th. I had to wait longer because they decided to roll out the convertible orders for a few weeks and hold back on dispersing vins on the fastback orders. Its worth the wait. [emoji482]

That's what my thinking was too. If it takes some time that's fine but hopefully not this three months for a vin mentioned above. I made sure my dealer had allocation before I order as I didn't want to get stuck waiting for a 16 when the 15 banks close. I thought I wo be way more relaxed about this but having no information is hard to deal with. Guess I'll be driving this focus ST I'm borrowing for a while. Not the worst situation.

Same here... Thanks to all the insight from these forums, I grilled the dealers about allocation before choosing which to order from, so I'm pretty confident that isn't going to be a problem (hopefully).

Ordered on Saturday April 11th. No VIN or COTUS. Dealer swore to me their allocation came up today. Have not heard from them. Will call tomorrow. This is all from Detroit burbs area dealer lol.

I begin to wonder now if we will suffer VIN rollout delays due to the fill of the Europe/Asia supply chain fill........ If so, I begin to think 2016 beckons..... lol. Those turn signals are kinda wicked.

Just got an email from my dealer - I have a vin and I'm assigned to the 6/1 build week. And I'm now able to pull the car up on COTUS
