I know this thread is a bit old, but I'll add a recent experience in case someone looking for dealerships comes across it in the future...
I was just at Pierre with my wife, looking for Fiesta STs for her. Pierre had a couple with Recaros, so we went there to test drive them and possibly order one from them (she wants orange or red and nobody has them.) The salesguy was about what you'd expect, trying to be cool and act like our best friend. Fine, that's normal I guess. So we test drive the car (I sat in the rear, which is roomier than my Mustang) and he tells my wife (who is driving) to feel free to push it a bit to get a sense for what the car can do.
She's not looking to wreck a car on the test drive, or get thrown in jail so she's a bit restrained but gives it some gas a few times and pushes it a little in a few corners. The salesguy was, in a good natured way, giving her a hard time for not driving a bit harder. She says she doesn't want to trash a car on a test drive, but if he wants to drive he can. So he jumps in the driver seat. He roasts the tires and we're off. At pretty much every stop he launched like he's drag racing for money, shifted as hard and as fast as possible, revved the shit out of the engine at every chance (even sat at a stoplight revving it,) and stood on the brakes a few times to haul us down from prodigious speeds on residential streets. As we're sitting there at a stoplight near the end of the test drive (with him revving the engine) the smell of a smoking clutch filled our noses.
I mean WTF. Other than the fact that I didn't even drive like that when I was a teenager, why would you take people out in a car they're presumably interested in buying and then beat the shit out of it? Like I said, we were just driving that one to make sure it's what my wife wanted and then we intended to order one, but had that been the exact car we were looking at I wouldn't have wanted it after that. When we got back to the dealership we thanked him for the test drive and got the hell out of there. We're heading up to Bickford this afternoon to order one.
