I'm 6'1 and have a good 4 inches of clearance from the top of my head and the roof of the car. Do you sit straight the F up? LOL
I'm with you, plenty of room.

Who has had good luck with gluing a rearview mirror mount to the windshield glass?

I would bust mine off and re-glue it higher so long as I was confident I would have no long-term issues.

Check with a reputable windshield replacement company. They probably do it more than most and should have the right adhesive and process. Shouldn't cost much either.

on my '13 and now on the '16 i aim the rvm down, then rotate it 180 degrees and aim it back up to normal rear viewing conditions, this helps get the mirror up as high as it can possibly go towards the roof. it has to do with the "bone" between the two ball joints having limited range of motion, spinning it around helps get a higher angle from the joint closest to the windshield.

I'm 6'1" and have plenty of room to put a helmet on. I do have the seat bottom almost flat and the front part just high enough to support my thighs. I do sit back a little farther as I have a fear of the airbag going off in a accident and breaking my arms and face.

Ive always felt like mine was too high. I have powered seats and lowered as low as they will go. When I go through a drive through or pull into sonic i have to duck down to see better. First car Ive driven in a looong time tho.....im coming driving a TBSS for the last 7 years.

So no one has successfully modded a stock seat to sit an inch or so lower yet? I was hoping it could be done without cutting out foam but maybe some aftermarket seats are in my future.

^This.

Just tried it and it solves my problem. Mirror now has no gap with the roof.
I should have noticed the offcenter ball joint on the back of the mirror.

Thanks, grue! :clap2:

the 180 flip is such an awesome hack....thanks!

I'm 6'7", and it make a HUGE difference.

Still gonna install the racing seat, though, for many reasons :headbang:
