Zack-Please let me know which dealer you're seeing them! One might vanish in the next week.

Alex
Hunt's Ford in La Plata has a race red v6 automatic. Will be passing it when I leave work today. Finally Prince Fredrick ford has about 3 V6 in stock with varying trim levels. I haven't checked but I am sure a few northern dealers like Silver Spring and Gaithersburg have a few in stock as well. Seem to be pretty popular here in Maryland!

I drove to Silver Spring to get my preferred V6 Mustang setup. Plenty of V6s in VA as well...

Thanks guys! My dad picked up a 500 from Koons in Baltimore a few years back and I'm pretty familiar with Frederick. I'll make sure to have this passed along to the right individual so we can get on this!

I'll make sure to have a new thread created as well once we get there!

Let me know if anyone has any questions at all, I'm always around to help!

Alex

There are 2 major problems with tuning of the new 2015 V6's. The main one is the change in EFI from mass air back to speed density. The 2015's now use old school speed density with a MAP sensor, no more MAF on the V6's. This is going to make forced induction tuning more difficult, but, will minimize need for tunes for bolt ons like CAI, headers, etc.

Right now, it looks like all of the tuners will need to have cars made available or calibration files extracted directly from the cars, SCT and the others will have to build their own databases of PCM calibrations.
I noticed this change when I was installing my throttle body spacer. There is no longer a MAF sensor in the intake plenum tube. There is now a sensor in the intake itself which with this information is the MAP sensor. I wonder what the benefits were to Ford for this change.

could the change from MAF to Speed Density have anything to do with the drop in the V6's bhp ?

just curious, which method does the EcoBoost use ?

if you're like me and don't know what MAF and Speed Density are:
general comparison: http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/electronic-fuel-injection/
detailed: http://support.moates.net/theory-speed-density/
I doubt this is the case. After seeing PewterCam's thread on inside the stock resonator and mufflers I would be willing to bet our V6 is actually producing more HP then the outgoing 14 model. It is the stock exhaust that is holding back our power.

Muffler: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14923
EB resonator: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14924

PS: The ecoboost and V6 share the same mufflers.

The Ecoboost use speed density just like the 6

Yea seeing inside that muffler explains why I gained the power I did with my race bullet exhaust.

Alright. I'll admit I was skeptical that your exhaust shaved .5 seconds off your 0-60 times. But after seeing the pics in that thread I'm a believer. What the fuck!?

These exhaust kits can't come out soon enough!!

I was thinking the same thing lmfao I was like no way a axle back can shave .5 sec I just figured you got better at driving or something

Darcars Ford in Lanham MD has a ton (8 of them). Talk to Mike Robinson and tell him James sent you.

Also Apple Ford in Columbia, MD has at least 5 of them. Just was up there yesterday. Talk to Dan and tell him James sent you.

As you can see I know the 2 dealers pretty well near me. ;)

I am making a correction to a previous post I made. The V6 mufflers are NOT the same as the ecoboost mufflers. Our mufflers, at least on the outlet side, appear to be the more traditional "turbo" muffler design as posted by Tom Y before me. This is a picture of the outlet on our mufflers. We still don't know what is happening on the inlet side however.

I'll cut mine up and post pics as soon as they release some axle back systems or when I get impatient and buy an 11-14 kit. I might also go get some baseline dyno pulls this week depending on how much my local shop charges so I'll put that up too
