Has anyone bought a tune for their sixxer yet? Bama, steeda, mpt or Lund? If so what was your experience? I noticed that AM pulled their 2015 v6 tune from their website but I imagine that the tunes shouldn't be much different from the 2014 since the only difference we have is the upper intake but I haven't contacted anyone yet for mine but I'm leaning towards the mpt

I ordered the Bama sct x4 and I got my money refunded because after 2 weeks I asked them what was going on and they said it would take an additional 30 days for them to come out with tunes after they already promised the tune to be a couple days so I just got mine refunded. I got it refunded because I don't feel like you should put things for sale if there not ready.

Hey Guys-I'm sorry about the delay and inconvenience but Bama should be having their 2015 V6 Tunes made available hopefully towards the middle to end of January. Once they're going live I'll make sure to keep everyone on 6G updated!

Just curious as to why a tune hasn't been released yet? Yall already have a 5.0 tune and an ecoboost tune but none for the 3.7 which is essentially a crossover from 11-14 minus the upper intake

Hey Rob-That's a good question when we ordered our first batch we along with Bama wanted to shoot for the GT and EcoBoost first but we should have a V6 on site shortly.

Bama will likely have their tunes for the V6 before we take delivery of our car though and from what I'm hearing this should be towards the middle to end of January. Once they're to have their tunes ready to rock I'll make sure to post in the 3.7 Section to let everyone know!

Hey Alex, I should be able to reuse my Bama SCT SF3/X3 that originally tuned a 2006 V6 Mustang because I returned it to stock before trade in (unlocked) and the connector is the same right?

From my understanding, I just need to buy back into the Bama Free Tunes for Life program for my 2015 V6 (when available) and update my tuner. So with the order I would receive canned tunes, options for new tunes, and a new plaque right?

Hey Reaper-That's a really good question and you would unfortunately need to get into an X4 due to the PCM that's used on the 2015 Mustangs.

At this time SCT doesn't have support for the 2015 V6's but we're working with them to get this moving!

Hey Reaper-That's a really good question and you would unfortunately need to get into an X4 due to the PCM that's used on the 2015 Mustangs.

At this time SCT doesn't have support for the 2015 V6's but we're working with them to get this moving!

That kind of sucks but that's the price of newer technologies eh? Do you know if the change is due to the PCM interface size, electronic signatures, or both? I haven't had a chance to check for myself yet.

Reaper-Sorry about the delay. Although the motor is virtually identical to the prior generation, the 2015 PCM is its own beast. All tunes Bama releases go through rigorous testing on the dyno and track including thousands of miles on the street (cold weather and warm weather testing, etc). Bama and AM only have Ecoboost’s and GT’s at this time to use for development and we have been unable to locate a 2015 V6 for the length of time needed to test the quality and reliability of their tunes. As soon as they're to have something released we will let the public know!

Come down here to Maryland! Plenty of V6's on dealer lots down here!!! I can count 3 as I go past a Ford dealer on my way to work. Plenty more where I bought my 6 as well!
