I could swear mine stays in my "My Key configuration" when I start with my key. I have it set up in sport steering and gauges, and normal exhaust. I don't have to select anything. My issue is when my wife uses her key, it sometimes won't change to her mode. Isn't it supposed to be based on which key is detected? Maybe I need to delete all memory and start over with her key as primary since she actually drives it most of the time.

Also, (unrelated, but sort of) lately, the Sync 3 Sirius XM keeps starting up in non-programmed stations or selections. E.g. the Sirius channel 1 or an arbitrary AM station. The presets are still all there but it's not starting on the previously selected stations.
Anyone else seen this?

Not in my Mustang, but oddly enough my wife’s Murano used to do this all the time. Quick soft rest usually fixed it.

In the Mustang hold the power and forward arrow at the same time for about 5 seconds and it’ll restart sync. (Apologies of you already know his.) This has solved problems 99% of the time for me for things like Sirius XM not working or apple car play not connecting.

Yea, I tried the 'soft' restart a couple times. Next startup it goes back to random stations. I had Sirius XM on the phone also doing updates and resync'd. No help.
I'm going to try a full reset next but haven't yet since I'll have to set everything up again. PITA.

That’s a bummer..hope the hard rest fixes it.

Hmmm.. on my 2020 GT the drive modes can be changed using one of the toggles. My mode is a bit different, creating a custom mode. But I can switch from normal to Sport, Track, Drag, Snow/Wet using the far right toggle.
Either one of us is missing something or we’re both saying the same thing somehow differently so that the other doesn’t understand. You simply save the 3 parameters in My Mode the way you want them. Now every time you bring up My Mode with the far right toggle these same 3 settings will pop up in My Mode until you decide to change them again.

Right?

On My mode not sure as I don't really use it. I found it confusing and having to "choose" it after restarting engine dumb. I used to be a programmer, that's a shitty option when it's unclear and needs to be picked each time. What I was responding to was maybe the OP said they wished they could change the drive modes with the toggles. I''m thinking Normal. Sport+, Track, Drag. Snow/Wet etc which work with the toggles. Maybe he meant something else.

If I were to wish for one thing, it would be for the drive modes, steering and exhaust modes to be on the center toggles and NOT in the menus. Well, that and a GT350 style steering wheel and the vacuum/oil pressure gauge swap out.
The drive modes and steering modes are on the center toggles. Just not the exhaust mode. The gauges and wheel would have been nice but I had already purchased a GT350R wheel for my 2019 and I kept it when I sold that car. I might swap the gauges at some point for GT350/GT500 gauges but it's too bad even with the GT500 ones it doesn't work with My Color. I wish they would decouple the Magneride from the engine so you could do like:

Magneride: Normal
Engine: Track
Exhaust: Track
Steering: Sport

I mostly just drive in normal and I've gotten pretty good and going in the menu and switching exhaust quickly.

I wish the Magneride was decoupled as well. Mymode is saved as Magneride and engine in normal, exhaust sport and steering sport. I usually only change my exhaust if I am going through a drive thru
