So my satellite radio started cutting out. I blamed the bending wire harness in the trunk lid. My dealer decides to order a new antennae. While I'm waiting 6 weeks for an antennae to come in and be painted the backup camera goes too - and guess what? That wire is in the same loom that bends every time you open the trunk. Now they believe me - apparantly there is a TSB now on it - Wire harness frays and breaks at the rear deck plate hinge point.

You're correct.

My BUC stopped working as well - same exact issue, the wiring harness deteriorates from use of the trunk lid on all models. Not like it becomes unplugged, the wires literally are broken/split apart, causing loss of connection for anything associated with that specific harness.

It seems like whomever designed the harness for that area didn't give enough slack and it's an issue causing problems for customers.

It's covered under the 3/36 warranty.
