Just noticed Lookers and Stoneacre doing the 0% deals. Also with good GMFV figures in the pcp deals. These two factors have made the monthlies very affordable.

I’ve wanted one of these cars so much, I made the first post in this section of the forum back in Aug 2014. But since then I’ve had kids and blaa blaa it all became a bit unaffordable with rubbish finance offers.

These new deals are great news. However I just bought a 2019 Civic Type R earlier in the year so aren’t really in the position to change yet. I was set to keep the Civic 4 years, so this has really thrown a spanner in the works.

What’s the chance these deals been around about this time next year. I’m guessing no one has any idea.

Can I ask what GMFVs you’ve been quoted ?
I’ve been offered £20392 which seems reasonable on a £44314 new car

Probably difficult to compare, but for what its worth I was quoted £22,358 on an auto based on 6000 miles.

I’ve asked about Twister Orange and been offered this colour but note that is a 2020 colour I think. Can you get Twister Orange on 2019 models ? I hoping they are not planning on giving me Orange Fury instead !

Who quoted this for you? The best I have received is £21,616 on a manual custom pack 2 with Magneride.

What are the monthly pcp payments on a mag ride auto custom pack 3 like? Retail is over £50k, so even at 0% they are probably fairly steep right? If they were £450 a month I would be all in.
Do you think £5k would be enough or am in cloud cookoo land?

I got a 2019 Mag ride, auto, custom pack 2 , so almost the same spec.

Finance was 7.4% at the time and even after a reasonable discount applied, lowest monthly I could get them to was £378, but that was with a £17k deposit.

I said yes, but then paid it all off within a week anyway, didn't want to pay that kind of interest.

No twister is not a 2019 colour, it is only a 2020 colour.

So yes if you are being offered an orange 2019 car dealer stock, it will be Orange Fury, not Twister

I’m pretty sure they don’t give you a GMFV anymore anyway with new Fords, it’s now an OFP (optional final payment) or that’s what I get at the Ford Store dealer I work at.

Oxford white is a flat colour, and the best colour ;)

I believe the oxford white replacement, "brilliant white" had a bit of a flake to it? Not sure when that came in though. Maybe a 2018MY option?

2018+ (up to 2020 anyway) are still Oxford White not Brilliant White.

Oxford White has been the only white option since 2014.

2013 had performance white which was a Boss 302 colour.

Not sure before that without looking it up.

Platinum White was an option on the 2017 models, it sure if it made it to the facelifts.
