Indeed...I'm curious to see what it looks like when finished.

My only gripe with Saleen is they keep your OEM parts...which doesn't make sense to me. You paid for all those parts when you bought the car, you should get to keep them.

You probably could for some extra cost. They have to sell those OEM parts on their eBay site to keep the company from going under lol :headbonk:

One year and 6 plus months later , the saleen black label is almost finished lol . It should be ready this week . Pictures will be posted as soon as it gets picked up . Yes it has been one year and 6 months plus :/ .

WTF...isn't it mostly just basic bolt-on cosmedics? That's a long ass time for something like that or were they not ready for production when they started taking sales? I do love the look of their kit though.

Unfortunately this sounds like the way to common slide that aftermarket companies like this fall into. Money gets low and you are using money from current sales to supply the parts and resources to finish stuff sold months prior. Hennesey got into the same mess.

Lets be real here. Assuming you have all the parts and needed materials on hand, there is no reason that one of these conversions shouldn't be able to be completed in a 40 hour work week. 18 months is quite a long lead time.

At any rate, congrats to OP on the car. They are definitely very nice, and I always liked the Saleen cars over the years. I just hope AM/LMR hurries up and copies those wheels soon lol.
