My experience no. Good regular car insurance with a reasonable low deductible is better, GAP insurance if you're upside down and only FORD prepaid maintenance and extended warranty.
Aftermarket warranty companies are usually a real pain to get claims paid and you only find this out after a claim is started, then they want increasingly silly paperwork and documentation to pay you. They lure you in saying it's all so simple and you're covered for all kinds of stuff...wheel tire package etc, then try to actually go through the claims process.
Put that money in a separate savings account instead.

Have you used Safe-Guard? For all the packages I am looking at will cost me $900 bucks. The wheels and tire one would pay for itself by replacing one wheel and one tire. Covers paint, keys, interior, etc. seems like a bargain to me and 5 years of coverage with no deductible, etc.

Most major insurance companies offer CPE (custom parts and equipment) coverage as an additional line item on your auto policy. I would call your agent and have them give you a quote and explain the coverage options in more detail (if your carrier offers it). At the very least just to get a cost and coverage comparison with safe-guard...

I was looking at these today. Seems like a good deal for what I have seen.

Anyone here with any real world experiences using their coverages?

No experience with them but it was offered to me when I bought the car.. after taxes and all along with this cost car came out to a little over 39k with 7years 85k miles. Got the total coverage which is everything except normal wear items. $100 deductible.. It was actually a good deal all together and given the rate of 1.86 apr for 75 months and I just found out this morning it actually went through my bank... BofA. Lol. How convenient
