It took about a year for the 2015 version to show up if I recall, expect it would be about the same, sometime late this year.

Naturally asparated I don't think the 18 leaves as much on the table. Considering the bullit is only another 20hp with an intake manifold I bet there will only be one or two stages of any.

There are tuners on here already making an extra 20whp on a tune alone. I am not really sure the point of going to the GT350 manifold just to gain 20 crank HP. The pre-18 guys are already swapping on the 18 IM and seeing similar or better gains vs the GT350 mani, which means they probably have similar flow characteristics.

bootlegger it just occurs to me that the top dog power pack for 15-17 was the intake, throttle body, manifold, and tune. It sounds like the bullitt has all these parts for a gain of 20hp over a regular gt. If that is Ford's comfort level with those hard parts it doesn't make a lot of room to squeeze in another pack between stock and bullitt. It is possible they release something with all the same parts as the bullitt with a tune that makes more than 475.

Aftermarket tuners are another storey. They aren't as conservative as ford. 15 to 17 tuners make more power than the ford power packs as well so I would expect the same here.

If a kit that costs well over $2k only nets 20hp gain, very few will buy it. Independent testing of the 15-17 power packs showed Ford to actually have somewhat aggressive tuning, and be on point or even conservative on the hp numbers. I still don't believe you need the GT350 IM to make >20hp gains on an 18, based on the testing comparisons of that manifold on the previous engine. I would not be shocked if they used it on the Bullitt for emissions purposes or just to justify the big price increase.

I agree that the gt350 intake manifold is a small portion of the gains on the Bullitt and the CAI/throttle body is probably the bigger portion. Though it hasn't been confirmed that the Bullitt is rated at 480hp as far as I'm aware only that it makes atleast 475hp, which Ford claims their Power Pack 3 (gt350 cai, intake manifold and throttle body) on the gen2 5.0 (435hp) makes an additional 37hp or 472hp. Keep in mind the larger bore, valves and point higher compression the gen3 5.0 has over the gen2 and that's worth more than 8 hp I'm willing to bet.
