Safe and Smart Windshield Replacement Question

I saw another post on this and one person said the camera would have to be aligned and calibrated. I'm getting my 2019 convertible cracked windshield replaced for a good price 2 hours from home at friend's house where we will be all weekend. Company said they replace these windshields all the time and do not align and calibrate.

Has anyone had the safe and smart windshield replaced without calibration and alignment? Did everything work right after installation?

Mine doesnt have the camera around the rear view mirror, but my wifes Toyo does and my Honda did. Also my bud has an explorer with one. They most certainly do need re cal in those models/brands. We just did my wifes car at Safelite, who calibrates as well now. Toyo dealer did not do windshields, but does cal's, and I really thought two stops for a windshield was dumb. Safelite took 2 hours and I just paid my deductible for $250 (most jobs with camera cal are over $1000).
