Got my car tonight. Brilliant service by Stillwell Ford after they received it on Wednesday. To say I am happy is an understatement. They even stayed open late so I could get the car. I have just come back inside after having sat in the car for a while in the garage.

The tinting is probably why. I have arranged to have Opticoat and tinting done elsewhere but there is no way I would have got my car tonight if I was having them do tinting.

Thanks Mark, I was starting to worry at the lack of call. Any recommendation on Opticoat closer to cbd (I know your going through a personal connection so may not be at liberty to say) otherwise i will give Brett's guy a call but it is bit further from my 7km from the cbd home base.

I've seen it now on two different Saturdays, i'm assuming its someone watching their kid play sport.

Just putting this here as it is SA based. Just confirmed insurance for pickup tomorrow. With RAA, multiple policies and at purchase/market value as they are not geared up to do higher than purchase agreed value - $555 a year at a $700 excess. New for old replacement (that doesnt exist with anyone for a Mustang until waiting periods are gone) and multiple policies with them. 41yo, good driving record and full no claim bonus. Now thats on the convertible GT so may be cheaper for the fastback. Incase anyone is looking locally for a policy...

I went with RAA as well, Alex....their prices are good and they have plenty of extras built into their policies.....a sleepless night coming up maybe....I hope the weather is not as bad as is predicted for you.. ..congrats for tomorrow. .

Firstly, it is great news that you are picking up the car tomorrow. Secondly, thanks for sharing the insurance info. I was standing in the showroom at 5:30pm on the afternoon that I was picking up the car and it suddenly dawned on me that I had not arranged any insurance so I made a quick call to Shannons as I have my other cars with them. However my price with discount is much more, over $800 so I will be ringing my SA Shannons contact and having a chat about this.
