How did you fix them to the bumper, 3mm screws staight in the bumper? :ford:Here we go my number plate brother from another mother...I did not want to use a frame so dealer screwed them straight on to bumpers. The front one gets a little bend in the middle to match bumper and I assume they used some sort of tape/sponging between but I can check this in the morning for you. I like the look and it turned out better than expected as out plates are full size and not slim like Bob's etc that looked great done this way...let me know if you need any better pics or anything...Looks wicked Alex, congratulations. Plates look great too, any chance of a front and rear shot of the plates as this will give me a great idea how mine will look (number plate bro) How did you fix them to the bumper, 3mm screws staight in the bumper? :ford:

Agreed, if you have full sized plates then you want the bare minimum of enhancements or else they become the focus of the front of the car. Thanks man they look great, and how l hoped they would look for full size platesafter seeing these l think I'll do the same and go straight to the bumper. If you can get an idea of the screws they used then I'll get my dealer to do the same . Enjoy the Mustang and am looking forward to the next Mustang catch up to see all these beautiful cars

Well did a bit of a ring around about insurance and got a quote with RAA of 879pa with 500 excess. Phoned Shannons who I've been with forever and everything with them for an updated quote, firstly they quoted me more than last time 1366pa WTF! When l told them the RAA quote he didn't seem interested in trying to make it competitive and he couldn't explain why the new quote was 110 more. Looks like RAA gets my business.Firstly, it is great news that you are picking up the car tomorrow. Secondly, thanks for sharing the insurance info. I was standing in the showroom at 5:30pm on the afternoon that I was picking up the car and it suddenly dawned on me that I had not arranged any insurance so I made a quick call to Shannons as I have my other cars with them. However my price with discount is much more, over $800 so I will be ringing my SA Shannons contact and having a chat about this.
I also rang Shannons today and managed to negotiate a better deal. It is interesting with Shannons, sometimes you get really friendly staff and other times not so much.Well did a bit of a ring around about insurance and got a quote with RAA of 879pa with 500 excess. Yeah agree, unfortunately luck of the draw with these guys (which can't be good for their businesses ). I had a guy called Michael and he didn't give a $hit. .I also rang Shannons today and managed to negotiate a better deal.
