 Nice one of your car Bob without the black shadow of the light pole:thumbsup:
Alway a catch 22 when I see these cars because after today's fix l want MORE. ....MORE. .....MUSTANG :hail::headbonk::love::hail::lol::headbonk::hail::love:.....at least I got some cool footage to look at again. ..and again and again :headbang:.

Oh while I remember can you tell me your catch can product code. ...please
Nice pics indeed....the shots that the wife took had the lovely pole shadow as well.

The catch can is on the upr products website under the heading of "15-16 mustang gt plug and play sc oil catch can separator".
The product code for that section is 5028-98-SC.
The black version is 5028-98-1-SC.
Luckily I still have my receipt to keep a record of the part number....it is pretty easy to get confused with the mass of them that are listed on their mustang catch can page.

I assume you had to remove some material from the Strut Tower Brace, to clear the K Brace.

Is it possible to file the material away or did you grind it away?

I also have the genuine GT PP Strut Tower Brace, waiting to fit to my car when it arrives next Month.

Graeme..I had to remove around three or four mm of material blended out over about 75mm of length. I used an angle grinder for the initial work and dressed it out with a file. The metal is not particularly hard, so if you had plenty of time and patience, you could get away with just using a file if you dont have an angle grinder. I was going to use a dremel, but that would take an eternity. An angle grinder to do the majority of work would be the more ideal method.
A bit of primer and silver paint on the bottom where the grinding was done and that's it.

Keen anytime, if anyone is keen i might try organise dyno day at tafesa
KPM are happy to hold dyno days also on Saturdays. Requires a minimum of 10 cars and a max of 20 cars, $40 per car, between approx 10am - 1pm depending on how many cars there are.
If Mark brings 4 of his cars we only need 6 more :headbang:

Just back from Kadina and the Copper Coast 500.

500m sprint on the airstrip there. Mostly older muscle cars (GT Falcons, Monaros and Comaros, Charger) with a few other interesting things. BMW 635 CSI and E82 1M, RX7 and late model Corvette to name a few. About 40 cars in all. Another 40 or so in the show and shine with at least a dozen Mustangs of all ages.

My wife and two of our kids came (one had to stay and look after the dog!). No problem fitting in all our gear - very useful boot.

Stayed at the Wombat hotel in Kadina.

I had four runs and they will be sending our times and terminal speed but I think I did a 15.8 sec at 182 km/h. Wheel spin a problem on the gritty track, spinning in first and briefly in second. Redline in fourth as I cross the line.

[ame]

Then on the run home, fully loaded with four people (kids are 14 & 16) and luggage, the car returned 9.2 L/100km.

Awesome vehicle!

Thanks for the video Michael, great run. The Mustang Owners Club had a run out there today which explains the older Mustangs you saw.
