Hi,

Started seeing some weird behavior on my third brake light, some of the leds seem to be out, not sure if this is a wiring issue or I just need to replace the led bar?

Kinda weird that some work and some don’t, have had the wiring harness rewired to fix the camera and various other wires that frayed, but that was two years ago.

Could be moisture? idk I’ve searched online quite a bit and can’t find anything, thought I’d just ask here.

It's a sealed unit. Unless you have the ability to open the plastic, diagnose the issue, source and replace individual components and reseal the case you'll have to replace it. Ebay usually has take-offs.

I too suspected moisture. In hot TX and FL we are more prone to moisture intrusion.

Years ago I worked for a company that installed digital dashes when they were new. There was an algae that grew on the circuit board in warm humid climates. So that could be a possibility if the sealed unit has a minute crack somewhere. Of course as an earlier poster said, being a sealed unit your best option is probably to replace the assembly.
