What happened to that yellow vet there at the end during the bloopers? It seemed like a immediate spin to the right and out goes the rear. Was that a speed issue?

Also nice driving and recovery there during yours. Rear started to slide but you had some really steady hands there guiding it back into place and just kept on motoring.
No clue on the yellow vette. He was holding me up through the corners, but pull me on the straights. Then coming into that last braking zone, looked like he locked up all 4 and started to spin. I was close to shitting my pants if he came back across the track:eyebulge:

And thank you, I think doing a few drifting events has helped my control a bit. Which sometimes involves letting go of the wheel LMAO

Jade might know a thing or two about getting a good lap in a Mustang :headbang: Looked like a fast lap!

How were the brakes?

He sure does! Thanks! For comparison sake he ran a 2:14 in my car!:hail:

The brakes felt great! Jade even commented that he liked my brakes better than another R owners who was running Ferodo Dusno's. He drove our cars back to back.

If Jade was only 3 seconds faster in my car I would call that a WIN!

That R18/R12 combo should have keep the brake bias in the ball park for the tire. A Pro driver brakes much differently so even though they maximize the braking they tend to be very easy on parts. I really like his hand motion for the braking zones.

Yes, especially how he lifts his hand when he wants you to trail off the brakes. This helps you not scrub off too much speed, which I have a tendency to do. Most was gained from riding shotgun while he drove though. Now that I know It's there, I just need to keep baby stepping towards it.

That is a big improvement, way to go. When I ran there with you last you were pumped to hit the 2:19.xx and now your popping off a 2:17.xx. Keep it up and you will find more time. Great job.

I know you did not get a chance last time to run Putnam Park but we are running there again on June 24-25th with 10/10ths if you are looking for a fun safe place to run.

Thanks Dave! Yeah, like I said, now that I've seen it done and know it's there, I just need to baby step my way there. I'd love to make the 10/10ths event but I have Barber booked July 8th and 9th. I'm sure we'll get to run together again at some point. Do you have any other events planned this year?

Road America in July
Barber in Aug (maybe)
Road America in Oct
Road Atlanta in Nov
Barber in Aug might be doable for me. And I'm looking for an excuse to go to Road Atlanta! What groups are hosting those events?

There is still a small possibility I can swing Road America in July IF I don't end up on another project with work before then. A college mentor of mine has a Camaro going.
