Didn’t ya remove the four bolts showing on below picture?

You leave those in and put nuts on the other side. The required bolts go up top.

These can be installed with removal of the belly pan only.

Holy!! Thanks man for the heads up. I’m still confused but once I remove the bumper, I’ll figure it out. But one last question though, do you remember the size of them nuts you used?

Don't remove the bumper! ( unless you have another reason) Its an easy thing to do, just remove the top cover and slip them in. (the nut might be metric, but still a common thread)

Brahhh .. I’m really glad you mentioned that—I was actually planning to take the day off just to do this installation. Thanks!

Absolutely do not remove the bumper, like I said, only remove the belly pan. It seems like @dguzzi had success just removing the radiator shroud.

Removing the bumper is a risky endeavor on these cars because the clips/brackets on the sides are easily broken.

Also, I previously posted all the parts needed to do this:

  • FR3Z-8187-A Support Brace x1
  • FR3Z-8182-B Support Brace x1
  • W505425-S442 Reinforcement Bolt x4
  • W716409-S442 Hinge Nut x4

Just received my order from Tasca both bolts and nuts, but W505425-S442 bolts are not the correct ones. One of the bars I purchased is from a junkyard and it came with its original OEM bolts, and there’s a significant difference between those which came with the bar and the ones I received from Tasca. I only need two additional bolts for the left side. Will keep digging till I find’em.

Going to DM you also.

Neither of those bolts in those pictures looks like what I used.

I ordered two sets of bolts and Tasca told me it was W505425-S442.

The other set I ordered was W711097-S437.

When I asked my local dealer to double check Tasca, they told me the nuts were listed twice in their system instead of having any bolts at all.
