radiator paint

i dont like seeing the radiator thru the grille like in certain situations like when the sun is hitting on it parked for a car meet or something..i saw a old video from bill from cj pony parts when he installed his cervinis grille on his 2018 he said he painted the radiator with some flat black paint. is this safe to do? i imagine it might make the radiator hotter? any tips or ideas

The product you ordered and the application of it will be perfectly fine. The paint will not affect cooling capabilities at all. Just do light passes until the unit is covered. I’d say you can probably get away with 2 coats to making it look better.

Also to note if you still have a functional A/C system, the A/C condenser is usually in front of the radiator, so that may be what you’re seeing. Even so, you can also coat it too with that paint, again no problem.
