If it makes you feel any better, every new vehicle I have purchased was hit by someone within the first 6 months. I kind of expect it now. :(

This thread makes me sick, glad you are ok but this bitch deserves to get a flat tire tomorrow and roll her shit.

There are just some people that don't deserve air.

On a side note.... JohnZiraldo is there an official award for this?
Thank you! Haha it will be a painful yet memorable award. A day I will never forget!
Well that is a trophy I did not want to have to award, but since you don't mind, I will get it polished up for you.

Do you have another picture showing the whole back of the car and the damage?

My first car was a 1972 yellow Mach I. At 7 in the morning I hear a big bang and a tearing sound. I look out and there is a city cop car stopped next to my baby. The cop calls me to come out...I look and the whole right front fender is torn away. The cop apologizes and says that he fell asleep at the wheel. Only 120 miles on it.
My father then says "well, now, at least, you won't have to worry about that first scratch"!

Glad it's only cosmetic and that you're fine.

This is why I have a dashcam (front and back camera) for my car sitting in my office and it'll be the very first thing I install, right after I clay bar and wax it. I hope I never have to use it, but just in case.

I'm sorry to hear that the same happened to you man. I don't understand drivers now a days and how stupid they can be!

Yes sir I'm glad it wasn't something serious where both the car was heavily damaged and I got injuries. Haha not really something I was hoping to be #1 for but I just wanted to share with my fellow members and needed to vent.

Thanks man! Everyone be careful out there, there are way too many idiot drivers now a days!
The idiot who caused the accident was two cars in front and didn't get hit to be truthful... he cut off the guy in front of me we were coming to traffic and slammed on his brakes, I must of been 1cm off the bumper of the car in front of me. As I got hit he moved foward just enough to not get hit. I looked in my rear view and was terrified at seeing cars coming at me at 50+mph while I was stuck.

I know how you feel. Your situation is a lot like mine. Except in a high school parking lot and the kid who hit me somehow missed a bright yellow Mustang in front in front of him. First thing I did was take a picture of his plate. He said it was nothing, and thought buying dinner was a fair trade off. Drove off. Long story short, his mom was happy when she found out what he did a full week later and I got a shiny new bumper.

Anyway, really sorry to hear this happened. My body shop did great matching my 12 year old paint so you should have no problems with that.
I'm glad that justice was served and you were able to get your new bumper man! I hate it when people fail to acknowledge that they clearly fucked up and try to play it off like nothing happened, so annoying. I'm hoping for the best with my body shop man, my friend that recommended me got his E90 M5 done from there and they did a flawless job!

Dang dude, well I hope and pray to God that you won't have to go through that with any of your new cars anymore because it's too painful!

Thanks man! Haha I know how you feel I just hope she gets what she deserves. Karma is a bitch!

Haha I mean either way is fine with me I just want my baby fixed :D! But I will post of a pictures of whole back of the car tonight. It doesn't look that bad from afar it's when you get up close that you realize the true damage since it's hidden.

Wow...that's just insane dude. Man that's like someone stabbing me in the heart, I feel your pain. I hope that the cops insurance was able to cover the cost of the damage and your baby is back to the way it was!

I know man same here, I will definitely have to invest in that, but praying to God I never have to use it!

Woww...some people man seriously, I just want to knock them in the back of the head and be like what the F*** were you doing!! That's so bogus that nothing happened to him, I hope he get what he deserves for being so reckless!

Ohhh man congrats!!! And thank God there is finally a car coming in to the dealership because now you can see if your car is doing the same thing as mine so we can compare. I'll be going to the dealership tomorrow to place an order for some parts so maybe we'll run into each other.

here's the link to the issues I reported:

Alright sounds good to me, my tracking says 1 day left but shows Saturday so i don't know if tomorrow is the day. For your issues, the window thing is a given in a coupe with no window frame, I had the same problem with my ls3 camaro. It gave me an error telling me to re-open and close my side of the window couple of times. It went away later on. Door rattling is a common thing with american made cars, camaro did it my 2014 grand cherokee overland does it, maybe a loose bolt or nut inside the door panel, but with the good stereo and bass the shaking will make things even worse and loosen things up so i don't know how people get huge subs in their trunk. RPM thing, try to rev up the engine while shifting i mean power shift it, see if that helps and on the down shift we don't have rev match so the should do engine break and rpm should go down without a hicup. For the thud, my camaro did grinding and thud it was a manual as well, these cars require the transmission fluid to be warm to work optimal performance so don't try to shift on high rpm's before the transmission fluid is warmed up. I will definitely switch to Amsoil, Redline or Mobil 1 mtf transmission fluid. Those work alot better even when the car is cold. Hope this helps. I will let you know if mine will have the same problems. Cheers.

I hope you get it at the exact time they have estimated! :). You're rightabout the window thine it used to happen on my 2010 stang as well but somehow it magically fixed itself haha. The two main things I was concerned about was the trans and rev hang. With the speaker thing yea it very well could be so And I reported all these problems to Ford as well. I see what you're saying about the rev hang I'll let the engine break in more and hopefully it will go away. Wth the trans issue after it is warm it continues to happen then too. Lol actually when I shift at higher RPMs it is smoother shifting but at low Rpms is when the problem happens the most. Also as I go into higher gears like 5th and 6h it doesn't happen. Mostly between 1-4 and when I'm stopped and I put it in first it does it sometimes too. Thanks a lot for your feedback man it really does help. I hope that your car has no problems at all :)
