She most likely had no proof of registration and/or insurance. Hopefully there were some cameras in the area that caught her. Total BS.

I've been in one fender bender. Luckily for me both of our cars were total pieces of crap and we both agreed to just go on about our business lol.

Lol that is true because she first said lets exchange info and I said ok let me take a pic of your license and insurance she ended up not bringing it out when I asked.

Haha I can understand that man but still just dealing with accidents is a pain in the anus.

August 2nd. I was either gonna wait for Camaro6 or get a 2015 1le or the new mustang. It is going to be my DD. They still haven't cured the interior for the camaro so that was a deal breaker for me, but i did have high expectations on the mustang like lighter weight more hp, haha now it weights almost same as my old ls3 camaro :(((

I promise that you will be satisfied with the new stang for sure. It's true that the 2015 1le out performs the 2015 stang at the track, but you have to consider that the track pack for the Camaro is more track oriented than the pp of the stang. With a little bit of work the stang will be on par with the camaro if not faster.

Not to mention that the Camaro has the crap-ugliest interior not inside an AMC car.

I don't even know what to say. You seem to be taking it fairly well, considering the car is BRAND NEW.

Exactly two years ago in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy here in New England, I got the first dent in my '05. No streetlights because the power was out, and I backed into a dumpster, putting a dent about the size of a half dollar in the rear quarter right next to the taillight. There's no one to blame but myself, but I was literally sick to my stomach. Yes, it was fixed, but the paint had faded slightly, so the new paint was not an exact match. Most people wouldn't notice it, in fact, but I can't stop noticing it. It changed the way I feel about the car in a way.

My point is, if the car was brand new, I'm not sure what I would do. I really feel so bad for you. The good thing for you is that paint should be an exact match, so maybe it won't be noticeable. I certainly hope that's the case!

Yup, the interior of the stang looks even better than some of the german sport coupes. The exterior is also sexy as hell, but, us consumers will never be satisfied. We will always want more haha. Demon, I will be getting LM32's with set of wheels for our winter, what are your thoughts?

Inside I'm dying man I look at the area of impact everyday but I try to keep my mind off of it because right now it's nothing I can do at this point but do my best to get it fixed.

I have been really stressed about it and think about it all the time and still can't believe that it happened or how and why it ended up happening. The only thing that made me even the slightest bit happy is that there is no frame damage and that the accident was not bad enough where it affected the drivability of the car.

I'm thankful in that sense but at the same time it will always be in he back of my mind. I do appreciate your concern and just hope none of my fellow mustang owners have to go through that :). Plus I saw the work the body shop did on my friends E60 m5 when he got hit and they did a flawless job which makes me feel a little better

Haha very true my friend our expectations are too high but I'm genuinely satisfies right now :). The exterior was a love hate thing for many people but I absolutely adore it. You should definitely go with the LM32's man I've heard really good things from many people. Unfortunately I didn't have enough saved up to invest in those so I went with the hankook i*cept evo w310 all around. I got AMR wheels from AM since they were a good price and clear the brembos. 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear just got them yesterday. For the tire size I went 245/45/R19 front and 255/40R19 in the rear. I say if you don't mind spending more go for the LM32s. I got the hankooks for 854 for all 4 tax+mounting+balancing from discount tires after bargaining of course

Sorry to hear that OP. At least your car is black so it should be a non issue in terms of knowing it was repaired/repainted but sorry you're likely to be on the hook for a deductible.

Demon,
The car arrived today to the dealership, but i can't get it today apparently they have to do documentation and take the car out of transport mode. I will go after work today to check it out though. Tomorrow will be the real delivery date. I already have my insurance ready and counting. I will let you know if i end up having the same problems, hopefully the car does not have any panel alignment issues to begin with that the other owners mentioned. Cheers.

Hey man that's great news glad to hear your baby is finally here :clap2:. Yea they said the same thing to me but I told them I was coming the same day anyways to come pick it up lol. They were preparing it while I was at work and then I went straight over once it was ready. I really hope that you have no issues with yours at all. Luckily mine didn't have any panel issues so that was some good news. Good luck and let me know if you come across anything :). Also post some pics up when you get the chance!

I feel bad for you. I am the Mustang guy at my body shop. They know to give the Mustangs to me. I will feel bad for the owner of the first 2015 I get, but it will probably be my first chance to get my hands on one, so I will be excited.
