S197 lugs don’t fit (news to me) recommendation on affordable set?

This is mostly about me being a cheapskate. I don’t want to spend $50 on another set of lugs when I already have a bucket from my various cars.

Reusing the stock lugs from my base GT trim five spoke wheels isn’t an option because they’re externally too wide for the RTR wheels that I’m bolting on. So... maybe I need to get spline drive this time?

I see some sets on Amazon in the sub $30 range...are any lugs in that price range reputable?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Those Gorilla small diameter lugs are good lugs. Been running a set for years.

I will say that some people have commented that the smaller diameter lugs bother them because they do leave a part of the seat on the wheel exposed. I'm not that OCD with wheels, but understand where they are coming from.

Some tuner wheels require small diameter lugs, running them in this case is not by choice.

I ordered up the Gorilla lugs. The smaller diameter is needed for the old RTR wheels from my S197 that I plan to run until I can make up my mind about a new set for the S550.
