Even if the car wasnt something I planned to keep (which even the collision director mentioned), I'd hate to be that owner that failed to have something this expensive and extensive fixed under warranty, and passed down onto some poor soul wheb its out of warranty. I'll be updating this thread as I receive updates.

Too many people just abuse something and then sell it off as someone else's problem.

Damn, there is no excuse for this shoddy-ass work. It was Friday, and those guys were seriously hung over.

Dealer just called and advised they submitted the $4700 warranty claim to Ford for repaint/re-seam in the trouble spots.

No updates from the dealership so I called them. They advised they've not heard back from Ford regarding any approval for repair. I let them know I'd be calling the Ford CSM line and opening a ticket.

Mustang has been there for half a month, and nothing has even started. It's pretty fantastic paying insurance on a car I'm not able to drive. This is probably going to be a fun time
