Running Turn Signals?

The turn signal amber light stays on whenever the headlights are on. I was wondering if there was a way to make them stay off whenever you turn your headlights on that way the only lights you see at night are the headlights and fog lights. Also, Im not sure if im in the right thread to post this but it seemed most appropriate for what i could find.

i dont like the switchbacks, they are too bright and take away from the "gill" drl's. I would much rather have only headlights running

I think your only option would to wire in a couple of relays on a switch...

I imagine it could easily be done to retain the turn signal but shut off the running lights. But that is basically mutilating a wire harness on a brand new car...and I think some new cars these harnesses are all connected to the cars computers and stuff. Could be wrong.
