All you guys who installed them and not one picture lol! Post some pics up when you get a chance. Trying to figure out how off the cool white LED is when compared to the pure white DRL's.
Cool whites...installed the fogs as well but no pics!! In Mexico til March!!

The top lens is designed to be an exact fit in the aluminum cast housing. Some have a very small amount of play due to slight difference in the casting of the lens. This should not affect performance in any way at all, but I do understand the concern, and we'll have to toss those lenses in the future. Thanks!
When you say toss lenses in the future... Can you explain your whole quote and what it means more clearly regarding the switchback bulbs and the rattle that they are talking about ... Thanks in advance on any info you can provide regarding this subject...

The "rattle" is caused by the lens moving very slightly under the top aluminum cap. The edge of the lens on some are about .1-.2mm too thin, giving them a bit of room, rather than being tightened down. We will have to check this more carefully to make sure that they are tight. However, again, this will not affect performance or longevity in any way. Thanks!

I recently installed one of the newly designed Diode Dynamics LED Switchback kit and have been having some slight issues. It seems that one of the LEDs (HP24) provided does not fit properly into the socket, as it fails to stay lit when connected. After installation, I confirm that it is displaying the correct LED color, but after a few minutes, the LED stops working, and only begins to work again after readjusting the light. It seems that the LED bulb is loose in the connector, or that the connections on the LED are not correct.

While the typical issue is that the light does not show, the other common issue I am having is that both the Amber and the White LED will be lit at the same time, leading me to believe that there is an issue with the connection.

Is there any way to fix both of these issues? Has anyone else had the same issue?

I had that issue with the previous version as well. They are defective. Do yourself a favor and buy the amazon bulbs for $15. At least they work.

Do they blink at the right rate outside the vehicle?

Damn. Hopefully mine won't have any issues. I get them tomorrow along with my tuner.

It does sound like a problem in the connection. So frustrating, because I can't tell you how long we spent testing and checking every single bulb. I'm sorry for the trouble.

I do see your email, and we will have a replacement shipped to you tomorrow morning.

So far, we have shipped over a thousand of the new bulbs, and have had three reports of problems- all completely different problems, too. The new bulb will most certainly take care of your particular issue.

Thanks!
Paul
