Hey all. I'll be getting Pypes catted long tubes shortly here, but will still have stock injectors and IM, would I be ok to run E85 on the Lund flex fuel tune with that setup? My other power mods are an Air Aid CAI and an MBRP street cat-back (currently running Lund 93 tune). My concern is that I've heard that in order to cool and protect the cats, tunes request more fuel. With E85, stock injectors supposedly can't provide enough volume of fuel. Everyone's thoughts?

I'm on LTs, e85, PMAS. No issues with injectors at this point.

For the piece of mind, why not just upgrade to 47lbs injectors. You can find them lightly used for $200 or less all day. Even new they aren't too costly.

I've gotta double-check with Lund, but the way it's written on their website, as soon as you try to deviate from stock injectors they charge you $600 for a "remote tuning session" to revise the tune for the injectors. They also charge $250 to upgrade to the flexfuel tune, so I'm not sure if I'd be hit with both those fees. So potentially, the injector upgrade would cost me $200 for injectors + $250 for ff tune + $600 for remote tuning session = $1050. I don't have that much in the budget after headers and install this modding season (I live in MI, modding/driving season ends sometime in October).

They do not charge remote charges for injectors. I didn't even pay a fee when I put my 47s in.

If that's the case then that's the route I'll go for sure.

I talked to Lund and was told all they'd charge even with upgrading injectors is the extra $200 for the ff tune, so I'll go that route. That being said, anyone with extra LU47's laying around hit a brotha up!:headbang::cheers:

I've been Lund-tuned since October '15. Back in Feb this year, I installed the GT350 MANI,TB, and cold air along with 47lb injectors. Lund charged me $50 for an updated FF TUNE for this new combo. After 4 revisions, I was dialed in perfectly. A couple months went by and I contacted them again to develop a E85 RACE TUNE for this GT350 setup. That was free.
