Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice on what tires to order for my upcoming track day. I'm looking for a runflat 275 35 r20 because the 315's I have in the rear of my Saleen will not fit on the front. I would greatly appreciate some help

I believe all that's available in runflat is Bridgestone Potenza tires if I'm not mistaken.

The car is my daily, and I've had one of the pzeros in the front go flat while on the way back from the Saleen show in corona. the 315's I have in the rear were too large to fit in the front and the 6 piston calipers were too big to fit the donut so I had to get a tow home. I'm just trying to avoid that

Have you ever had a run flat before? They are not performance tire so you will be giving up a lot

Most of the time a run flat can not be plugged if you run over something. You would most likely have to replace the tire instead.

I hated the run craps on my C6 Vette. Get killed on wet roads if you lay into it and not great when cold.

Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy 2 Runflat

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy 3 Runflat

Pirelli P Zero Run Flat

I had no idea they were so bad compared to other tires, I might just look into carrying a full size spare and pick up 3 of something better. Thanks guys! Greatly appreciate the insight

Get a full size spare and regular tires. Because of the really stiff sidewall they have a super hard feel. You will HATE runflats on your Mustang. I had Bridgestone S001's on my BMW and it was the worst riding tire I've ever had. Never again for RFT's. Plus they cost way more to have a terrible ride.

I replaced the OE Goodyear runflats on a Vette within the first 500 miles. They felt like they were made out of granite. They rode bad, they handled worse, and they had no traction. I just carried a 12V compressor and a plug kit in the car.

Another one chiming in to say runflats SUCK, particularly if you think you want to drive with any kind of performance.

Great idea on paper, but they all are terrible in real use.
