2018 Redesign + Ecoboost V6
Hmm... so I'm surprised that this has not been mentioned yet but I recently read an article showing that Ford is going to redesign the Mustang for the 2018 model....primarily the front-end. I am really excited to see it but I know that won't be for a while. When do you think Ford will release renderings of any sort?
There was something I read that someone who's friend works at ford said that they are looking to release the EB V6 that year as well... did anyone else hear about this?

I wish Ford would make an Ecoboost V8. They need to strap two turbos (and a blower) on the Voodoo and win all the races.

A freshened look for 2018 would not surprise me. A lot of rumors have been going around that Ford will be dropping the V8 for a EB V6. Not sure how true that is though. Personally I can't see them dropping the V8. An EB V6 would be nice though.

There is no doubt in my mind that the V8 will be dropped in the near future. I mean come on, even their Supercar the Ford GT has gone to twin turbo v6.

They won't Drop the V8, What they will probably do is drop the V6, making the current Eco the base engine and Slot the V6 Eco in the middle, with some restrictions built in to keep it below the V8.
Both the Current ECO and V8 will gain power to compete against the Camaro6, for MY17 I guarantee it.

I just can't see them doing that especially since they just spent money on improving the engine.

I work at ford....No EB v6 talk at all right now for a mustang....They will also not be dropping the 5.0 in the F150 or Mustang in the near future.
