That is the cover on the hood latch. I did the honeycomb version. Just make sure you have a friend over the clips on the grille are pain in the ass to unclip especially in the middle. Here it is when its drying up close. Just buy the Goop at Lowes or HD.Ima go with the full upper and lower from customcargrills. Not sure on weave or honeycomb yet though.
GMAN, is there a cover over your hood latch area or is that just how that area looks?
Where are the "fangs" or "bars" or whatever you call them that the Mustang comes with? Looks odd to just see two floating triangles tucked into the grill opening. And switch-backs?!?!? As if we needed blinkers in the grill, in the bumper, in the mirrors, on the hood...:frusty:Not to confuse things more, but Outlaw just released their DRL grill. Its like the RTR, but more refined and the lights are switchbacks...

Oh I see you actually reuse the OEM frame and just cut out the OEM honeycomb and replace with this and you just leave out the side pockets.
What did you guys use for cutting and what did you use for glue?
Any issues with it coming apart at high speed?
Did anyone just purchase the whole thing and then cut out the side pockets?
I am just worried about the look of something like that dremel and how smooth it will look up close? You can just choose not to install that section of the mesh. Or if you are buying their complete grill, you can just remove that section. The upper grill is actually three separate mesh sections.
Many high speed runs, in Mexico and never a problem. The Good is like cement.Gman how did you get the pockets on the side with no grill material?

Guy sounds like the guy from beevis and buttheadMany high speed runs, in Mexico and never a problem. The Good is like cement.
I bought the whole kit, and cut it all out with a dremel. When you cut it out, ford was really nice to leave a line to follow where the honeycomb part is molded to the outer ring.
