Its going to be one of these two. I like the open-ness of the Lethal Performance but at the same time I like the RTR look as well. But cant nail down which one for sure just yet. Figured Id get some thoughts. Thanks!

I ended up going with the Customcargrills.com full kit. That way I could keep my oe grill for either resell, or later projects. Quality is top notch. It ended up costing about $475 for the whole grill with mesh pre-installed.

The RTR is pretty mean looking especially with the led's, but borderline gawdy.

$275 was for the top and bottom? If so that's a pretty good price. Most of the replacement grilles are $400+. I really like the RTR especially with the light kit but can't justify $750.

Yes. For the top and bottom. It was delivered 3 days after I ordered it.

Yeah I just did the same thing. One kit is $360 and the other is $475. The DIY kit is cheap but I don't think I have the required skill set to cut out honeycomb. I have a feeling that I'll just mess the whole thing up.

Which kit was $275?

Crap, sorry.. It was $475... LOL. I deducted the cost of the factory grills on my build spreadsheet because I can always sell those.

I don't think you can sell the GT grilles for $200. That's pretty aggressive pricing. Maybe $100 though. The weave one looks awesome. Definitely worth the extra $100. The DIY video looks insane and tedious.

Right. I didn't subtract it based on what I would get from it, but based on an average of what they would cost new.

I also did the customcargrilles.com diy grille kit. Its not to hard of a project, I did it with a old malfunctioning dremel and it turned out great. The hardest part was waiting for the epoxy to cure. It gives it an open look like the old gt500 while giving some protection from debris. I'm not too sold on the rtr leds. I like them but probably a bit too much overall given all the different lights.
