they call them "tactical". so I will not be purchasing them. How can an exhaust be "tactical"?
Depends on which definition of "tactical" you use. But this one fits, since they have a line if tactical performance products.

2 a* : of or relating to tactics: as*(1)* : of or relating to small-scale actions serving a larger purpose*(2)* : made or carried out with only a limited or immediate end in view2

Same. I have an X and have been mulling over muffler selection. This one seems like one of the tamest, which is what I'm looking for so that the whole catback is reasonable.
Same here, i have the Lethal Bottleneck H-pipe. I'm debating on going Solo Mach XV, Borla XS mufflers or maybe the RTR street series

The only issue with the solo is you need the full catback or it'll be LOUD. It's basically straight pipes without the resonated muffler that's in the catback.

I think the Borla ProXS mufflers are essentially the same as what you get in the S-type catback.

I'm installing my RTR comp spec axleback Saturday. Curious how it will sound with my lethal x pipe.

Sweet! I'm curious as well. If I get the street spec it'll sound pretty much the same, just quieter.

Have you tried or heard this set up. Looking for a quieter, deep tone without a droning issue.

I really enjoy reading your post entries and have learned quite a bit from them.

Thank you.

I started with a resonator delete and the street spec. sounded freakin awesome. Then I deleted the cats, and it did get quite loud and droned a bit. some homemade j-bends resolved that nicely. With cats now nice rumble daily commuter, pop the cats out and it goes full retard loud!
