I have a roush axle back but I'm considering resonator delete and H pipe. My question is how much louder will the H pipe make it? I don't want it to be too loud

I've been running with the Roush axleback since I got the car about three months ago. It sounded great, but was essentially the same volume as stock. I added the MRT resonator delete H-pipe this weekend and...WOW! That REALLY woke up the exhaust note. At high revs, it's borderline offensive. Yet with the windows up, it's very tolerable. It really sounds like a Mustang should.

If you're into loud, you won't be disappointed. If you're wanting something more mild, stick with just the Roush or find another option.

I have the Roush axel back and the Lethal H-pipe...its much louder than the axel back by itself, and its awesome!

Like everyone says, it sounds like a Mustang should. With the windows up its not that loud in the cabin...but outside it'll definitely wake the neighbors...

Makes the car much more fun to drive though! Cold starts in the morning in a condo parking garage sounds like a cannon going off... :)

I have the Roush AB and the MRT H Pipe which I added after the Roush AB just needed a little more Mustang sound :headbang: this set up is perfect

Expect it to be considerably louder with the resonator delete. If it concerns you I would suggest checking out our sister company SLP which offers a nice 304 Stainless loudmouth 2 offering which is the exact same can as the Roush kit but has some packing inside so it will cut down on a little of the bark. The part is not on the website yet but you can call and ask for it.

I'm on the fence myself to me the axle backs sound pretty solid. I find it to be louder with the windows up than down

I'm planning to get Roush axleback but how loud is it compared to .. let's say Merc C63, Jaguar F-Type, Maserati V8s, Porsche V8s and other European competitors with incredibly loud stock exhaust?

I was thinking of doing either straight, X, or H-pipes. After watching [ame] , I think there is a bit too much noise at cruise level (1500-2250 RPM?) with an axleback (planning on Roush).

I plan on doing mostly daily-driving (15-20 min commute) but also a few long hauls (multi-day trips), so I want ZERO drone for those days.

I might consider a wild to mild system of some sort. I'd like to have an "angry mode" button that opens the exhaust up and makes the gill lights turn red >:D

here is a video of some revs when I had just the hpipe res delete and the roush axlebacks

it has a very nice low growl to it, it really is the perfect combo if you are just looking for a nice exhaust note

Thanks for the clip!!

It sounds incredible. I just don't know if I would be happy on a multi-day cruise. What's it like driving 75mph for a few hours?

these cars are so sound dampened that it's really not even loud inside. and it's about twenty times more quiet than my current set up

What other parts of your current setup makes it 20x louder than with the H and the Axle-back? The Offroad headers?

Btw, I can completely believe the 20x increase in volume due to the logrithmic nature of sound perception.

Yeah the off road headers. if you're looking to have a nice sounding setup without being obnoxiously loud I think the h-pipe and Roush is best combo I have heard so far
