Just got the Roush Phase 2 kit installed on my 16' GT. I noticed that as I accelerate once I get close to about mid throttle the car will stutter and then jerk like its coming back on boost. The car drives fine if I'm low or high throttle, but if I'm on about half throttle it has this jerk once or twice and then it adjusts fine. Is this poor tuning by the shop that installed it? I was told that they tuned it to the highest they could for the injectors that came with the kit. With that being said I was expecting more out of this kit. At the wheels, It's only 584HP/500TQ, I know numbers can vary from dyno to dyno but Idk definitely could use some advice with this!

Get a new tuner. Do you have a data log

Wow that’s terribly low numbers for the Phase 2 on a custom tune. The Roush tune alone lays down 660-670hp so definitely a install issue or bad tuner. Get a different tuner or run the Roush tune.

Is it on pump gas? Your numbers would be even lower if they ever used SAE instead of STD.

I had my 2019 dyno'd at the same place last week and my numbers were low to me too. I put down 625/550. My 2018 with the same setup (roush P2) put down 666/603 on that same dyno. They were both on the Roush Tune.

PS.. I heard reports that a 2018 with headers and a tune put down 500whp on that dyno. Not sure I believe it.

Yea it's tuned to 91 pump gas. Seems like everyone agrees that it's the tune, so definitely going to run the Roush tune and see what happens. Unfortunately, I don't have the data log, but what's everyone's opinion on Lund tunes? Is that worth a try as well?

Lund doesn’t currently tune Roush 2650’s. VMP or Palm Beach Dyno does.

I have 16 gt with roush blower stock phase 1 it made 573rwhp on 93. Then I did cat deletes and palm beach tune and made 610whp same everything.
Now I’m on the palm beach dyno stage 2 setup but haven’t dynoed it again. Needless to say the Palm beach dyno tune changed the car entirely in both situations and no issues.

Sounds like Palm Beach tune it then! Thanks you guys!

They usually offer the option of sae or not there. This was obviously raw. Mine NA on e put down 516whp/454wtq on that dyno and it was in April so not like it was cool out. But that's on an AED tune on their dyno not their tune. I would work with them to get it ironed out as that seems off.

Yea, I'm going to see if they can help me out on Monday. They were highly recommended for sure but it seems like everyone I talk to seemed really surprised that the car came out like this. Hopefully it's something they can iron out pretty quickly. Is that all you did to your car? You're just running on E and pulling over 500?!

Well all mods listed in sig. But they are good guys there. They'll get it figured out.
