Never had ANY type of coil over setup before, so I'm in the dark as far as adjustments and what affect it has on quality and alignment.

I had them put on with the preset ride height about 2 weeks ago, and I want to see it a little lower. When I jack this thing up this week and get to turning on things, what do I need to know going in? I can find plenty of instructions for installation and reviews on them, but nothing about adjustments.

Two basic questions I have:

1) Am I about to jack up the alignment on the car?

2) Has anyone taken them lower than the setting they are shipped with?

I have a Roush V3 suspension, which is very similar to what you have, and installing it did change the alignment a bunch. If you haven't already, I would have that reset as toe and camber front and rear does change from the lowered suspension.

The only spring perch adjustments we made to my car were to balance the corner weights for autocross purposes. The setup guy adjusting my car was not able to get the rear perches to adjust with the included tools. The whole assembly would just spin and I think I need to drill a shallow hole in the upper mount so one of the spanner wrenches can hold it while the other spanner twists the adjustable perch. That being said, he was able to balance the car from the front struts and liked the rake I ended up at.

If you are just going for looks keep in mind the rear springs have a motion ratio of 49% so any adjustment you make to the spring height roughly doubles what you see at the wheel.

I guess set it where you like it then go have the alignment reset.

Would be it possible for you to measure the ride height (at the Roush preset level) from the dead center of the wheel, to the bottom of the front and rear fenders?

Pictures may very well be deceiving, but that doesnt look like a 1.5" front and 1.0" rear drop.

Thanks
