I'd like input from others comparing the Roush to the Gt350. It seems the price range is close and I'm just wondering if the Roush would be considered when cross shopping.
You can also look at like this: Any Mustang GT can become a RS3. No Mustang GT can become a GT350.

No one is knocking Roush nor a stock GTPP here.
Yes sir. Not knocking the Roush or GT350 either.
If I were to get a GT350, it would be the R version. I had been thinking about owning one in the past 6 months, but decided against it.

That's tough, I like the Gt350 look way better, but since I will rarely track the car I think I'd enjoy the increased HP more. I actually really don't like the look of the roush. I'd rather get a GT premium and put a SC on it, so I guess I'd go Straight regular gt and mod or GT 350.
You are in the same place I was ! I liked the look of the 350, but knew I would never seriously track the car and needed an auto because of my knees.
So, that ruled out the GT350.

Looked at the RS3's, liked most of what I saw, but not all of it.
Decided in the end (for my intended use) I was going to be better off rolling my own & getting a GT Prem & modding (see my sig.).

I know that since it's "just" a modded GT & not a 350 or "real" Roush car resale value will not be as strong, but I intend to keep it a long time so I'm not too concerned about that aspect of it.
If it turns into a pile of poo, I'll be eating those words  but hopefully it will not become a money pit or maintenance nightmare :D
